Names Ihor Gussak, MD, PhD, FACC Vice President of Global Medical

Former Aventis Executive Brings More Than Two Decades of Cardiology

and interpretation services, announced today that Ihor Gussak
has been named Vice President of Global Medical Affairs.
With more
than 20 years of cardiology experience, Dr. Gussak joins eRT from
Aventis Pharmaceuticals, where he served as Associate Global Clinical
Director, Cardiovascular Global Product Realization. Dr. Gussak
has broad academic experience in the U.S. and Europe and gained
his cardiac safety expertise at one core ECG laboratory and established
a second core ECG laboratory. He has participated in management
of many clinical trials and is credited with major contributions
and publications in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
In addition
to defining ECG analysis results for cardiac safety implications,
Dr. Gussak will consult with eRT's major pharmaceutical clients
on cardiac safety determination and use of eRT's services and
products during the protocol design process. He will also be responsible
for developing the ongoing strategy for eRT's cardiac safety services
and supporting technology, which will be driven through his formation
and management of eRT's medical advisory council. The council
will be comprised of thought leaders from academia, government,
and the industry at large. He was also recently appointed Associate
Editor of the Journal of Electrocardiology.
