Title: Systems Analyst I

Location: UK

Duties: This is a challenging role for a detail-orientated person who possesses excellent organisation and communication skills.

The position is responsible for attending client kick off meetings as appropriate to understand data collection requirements, setting up Enterprise databases and reports based on Study Initiation Packet and client requirements, providing standard file specifications to the Data Manager and/or client. Additional responsibilities include developing SAS programs to create Community data files and eRT standard data files, reviewing user requirements and creating and/or reviewing Functional and Technical Specifications, processing data extracts through SAS and creating and testing ad-hoc programs for data resolution. In conjunction to this, the role will involve recommending, developing and implementing SOPs for improved Data Management Procedures.

Qualifications and Skills Needed

Degree: The successful candidate will have a Bsc in Computer Sciences or a related field.

Years of Relevant Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of one years experience with BASE SAS products and procedures and one years experience in database design and data structures.

Computer Skills Needed: They will also possess effective problem solving skills and will be highly proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.

Travel Requirements: No travel required

Other Requirements: Experience of working in either the pharmaceutical industry or an understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development process would be an advantage.
