Title: Consulting Project Manager/Account
Manager
Division: Consulting Services
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duties: Assumes a lead role in the development
of client relationships focusing on the management of all
consulting activities. Responsible for working closely with
Executive VP Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Chief Scientific
Officer (CSO), Statistical Resources, Business Development,
Project Management, and the overall Project Assurance team
to develop and execute a strategic plan that enables eRT to
maximize the ability to provide superior service in the delivery
of eRT consulting services.
- Principal activities focus on the effective and efficient
delivery of all client deliverables and obligations, and
keeping all consultants up to date as to the status of each
study.
- Attend internal Client Status Meetings as necessary to
keep up to date on all studies receiving consulting services.
- Track all studies where consulting services are being
offered, or have been sold.
- Track all revenue, receivables and payments for consulting
services.
- QA protocols, statistical plans and expert reports written
by eRT consultants as necessary.
- Work closely with Contracts and Proposals regarding client
study details and ensure that change orders are implemented
for change of scope requirements.
- Work with the sales team to help optimize the use of CMO
and CSO’s schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of consulting presentations.
- Present Cardiac Safety consulting services at client meetings,
such as Investigator Meetings, Client visits, Study Initiation
meetings and Business Development meetings as needed.
- Provide monthly reports to Supervisor as requested.
- Assist with increasing business growth by understanding
the client environment and client needs and working to achieve
overall client goals.
- Continue awareness of the client’s clinical requirements
in order to determine how they can utilize the eResearchTechnology
products to support them.
- Assist with departmental and company goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Skills Needed
Degree: Bachelor Degree required and experience
in the pharmaceutical field (or related industry experience).
Years of Relevant Experience: High-level
knowledge of eResearchTechnology products and services or
3+ years related experience.
Computer Skills Needed: Working knowledge
of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Outlook, Powerpoint,
Excel and Word.
Travel Requirements: Travel varies according
to needs (est. <15%)
Other Requirements:
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, multi-tasking,
and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate the
needs of the customer and provide solutions and recommendations
that effectively display results.
- Demonstration of leadership skills and interpersonal skills
necessary to maintain a positive relationship with client
and internal teams.
- Ability to work quickly and effectively in high stress
situations.
- Familiarity with the Drug Development/Pharmaceutical Industry
practices.
- Excellent communication skills; must possess the ability
to professionally represent eResearchTechnology both verbally
and in writing.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and
proceed with objectives without close supervision.
- Experience in project management techniques, such as project
plans and time-management.
Days and Hours: Full Time (weekend travel
required)
