Title: Software Automation Analyst

Division: Systems Validation

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

Duties: Work in conjunction with departmental colleagues and Development team to determine the best plan and approach in testing the function, boundaries, exception, migration and installation testing for products. Build manual and automated scripts, execute the tests and follow through with Development on any anomalies found during the testing.

Create, maintain and document testing documents for new versions and software patches.

Responsible for evaluation of functional specifications and technical documents to determine best practice testing methodologies.

Create, build, and maintain test plans for Test Plans and Test Scripts.

Verify test results and work with Development in resolving software bugs.

Qualifications and Skills Needed

Degree and Years of Relevant Experience: College degree with a major in Computer Science Or 5+ years related experience Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills Needed:
1. Proficient in use of automated testing tools, Mercury’s Quick Test Professional (QTP), Test Director, LoadRunner preferred.

2. Proficient in the use of programming languages such as JavaScript, VB Script, C, C++.

3. Strong knowledge of Web Automated Testing.

4. Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office, e-mail and electronic calendar knowledge and abilities.

Other Requirements:
Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry or Regulated Industry.
